¡EL PAN!

We have 2 bakeries just blocks from our apartment and thus from our new casita. But. . .even though the bread looks good--baguettes with crusty looking outsides--it is NOT good. Now, however, we've found a French bakery about a mile away. Chewy, flavorful baguettes of 2 sizes. And brioche. Will we go to the trouble of walking so far every day for bread? You bet!

Still miss Mimi, though.
