LAS FUENTES DE QUERETARO

There are probably as many fountains in Queretaro as there are bridges in Pittsburgh.
Some are, as you would expect, in plazas. This is the Plaza de la Constitución.

This is the Jardín Guerrero.

This is the Plaza de Armas, aka the Plaza de Indepencia, a block away from us.

Some are on andadores.

And some are on busy streets.

This one is inside a building that sells furniture, electronics, and motorcycles.

This one's my favorite. See the look of ecstasy on her face and the strings made of water splashing on her legs? It reminds me of Lacan and Santa Teresa de Jesús.
