For a minute I thought I was back in WV where the Christmas decorations stay up most of the year.
But then I remembered a holiday is coming up in Mexico. Patriotic stuff is on display, most of it for sale.
The Palacio de Gobierno is decked out in bunting.
16 de septiembre is Independence Day (and the name of a street, lest anyone forget). Grito de Dolores and all that stuff. I'm sure there will be fireworks, since they go off on other days for no apparent reason.
